One of our favorite things at PTC is the unique opportunity we have to get to know artists from all over the country. As a professional theater company, we are lucky to be able to hire designers, directors, musicians, actors, and many other talented folks from New York to California and everywhere in between. It is always a great to get to know these people “from away;” they bring with them a wealth of stories, skills, and experiences that in turn enhance the productions we are able to provide our audiences. Yet what may be the most fun, is seeing what these temporary Mainers discover about “the way life should be.” As anyone who saw Always….Patsy Cline can attest to, we were very lucky to have the talented and vivacious Laura Hodos join us at Penobscot Theatre. Laura is a bit of a shutter-bug, and we just thought you might like to see some of what she captured during her time with us here…….enjoy! (All photos and tags courtesy of Laura Hodos).
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! We will miss Laura and wish her all the best on her upcoming journeys! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAND……………..we would like to introduce our next visiting artist! Stacey Scotte will be joining us all the way from Los Angeles, California to play the title character in our upcoming production of Becky’s New Car. Ms. Scotte brings a wealth of experience from her background in television, film, and theater. We can’t wait to show her around; so if you see her in downtown Bangor – say hello!
