Audition Seminar:  Auditioning can be one of the most nerve wracking experiences of a performer’s process. Why not prepare the perfect audition package and relieve all that stress?   During this class, actors will learn to choose audition material that highlights their strengths, dynamic performance of the material, how to format and actor’s resume, what makes a great headshot, and much more.  Whether you are interested in auditioning for college study or for our main stage shows here at PTC, this course is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to take their next step toward landing that dream role!

Instructor: (Jasmine Ireland) Ages 16+ Tuesdays 3 – 6 p.m.  ($175)

Introduction to Improvisational Technique:  This class will focus on the basics of improvisation. Attendees will gain skills to initiate scenes, build upon scenes, and create scenes with a solid foundation. Topics covered include: agreement; active listening; using the environment; basic narrative skills and understanding stage status.

Techniques covered in this course are theatrical in nature but can greatly benefit anyone interested in public speaking, creative problem solving and team building exercises.
