Auditions for "Sandy"

Sandy, the loveable orphaned pooch whose journey from stray to finding a loving home, has become ubiquitous to the classic story of ANNIE. “We can’t possibly produce a production of ANNIE without finding the perfect Sandy!” says Artistic Director, Bari Newport.“From veterans of the stage to absolute beginners, all comers will be considered during this hunt for the perfect pooch.”

All dogs, Sandy colored or not, who are gentle, reasonably well trained and great with children are encouraged to audition. Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 18th from 10-5pm. Callbacks will be held on August 23rd, at 7pm during Penobscot Theatre Company’s popular Scenes and Songs season preview event.

Well-behaved humans are asked submit the following on behalf of their four legged friend: picture and registration form (REGISTRATION FORM) by August 15th. Upon receipt, participants will receive a specific audition time. No walk-ups on the day of the audition, please.
